It can be Prophecies+Nightfall; could be Factions+nightfall; or Prophecies+Factions+Nightfall. The storyline will refer back to Prophecies more but as it is designed as a standalone; it's an expansion to whatever is on you account.

Just curious, why do you think they would make new armor for Ritualist and Assassin NPCs, and not for player characters?

I don't think they have released which magazines it will be in. Alex will probably say something when they do.

I'm glad there is confirmation of support for rits and sins, including new armors and most likely new weapons. Althought my rit and sin are pretty much set with their armor, new weapons never hurt.
I picked up the PC Gamer issue last night, so I now have my code for the new minipet. I have a bad feeling that some people went out and bought multiple issues of PC Gamer to hoard the new pets for themselves, which makes me sad. Don't be greedy. Spread the wealth.

WOW!!! Central FL here no November PC gamer yet. Even Barnes & Nobles is carrying only the September issue. I checked PC Gamer website and they are advertising the September issue on shelves now. Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

I decided against buying a PC Gamer for the minipet because you know everyone and their mother is going to be buying it so they aren't going to be worth THAT much.

Do we know what the basic background or storyline will be in Nightfall?

As far as I knew before they just had wings on there armor, but this sounds cool.

Hmm in pvp when the males shouted I thought it looked really really dorky and figured I had to go female paragon if I made one at all.
Now this might make a lot more sense...!

Well I see yer all mostly jumping up against GloryFox but I have to concur, in fact I kinda got sick of the all the abberations in chp2 - not only was it a fair bit on the disgusting side, arguably much worse it was boring/dull and got OLD quick.
If I wanted to play Resident Evil I would, but this game is targetted a bit differently and I'm happy about that. I'm not even sure of the details here but I'm glad this has been relatively free of that - ie I'll play something like Dead Rising when I want the parts to fly and spray.
So I'll have to do digging to make a real judgement but I was disappointed with the walking mutant/abberations in chp2 (not only a bit overdone and disgusting but very overused and boring to boot) and hopefully chp3 wont be overdone for shock value either - again in this kind of game, it quickly degenerates into a bit of repetive vulgarity for no apparent reason.
Keep in mind I liked Planetscape Torment too.
But I basically avoid the games that that's really all they offer and/or get silly with it.
I think its fair to hope that the chapters stay within some bounds, we have some expectations 2 chapters in.

Hey if you trash the mini gray giant or delete the character currently holding your mini gray giant does it reappear when you type /bonusitems?

You will get it back when the game goes live. But if you trash it after that; it's gone for good.

There's a similar symbol next to the glowing chest in Kaineng Center (hold 'z' to see it), and another during the loading screen for the Abaddon's Mouth mission (and all RoF areas).

Too bad USUALLY the second part of a trilogy is the best- I mean just look at Jurassic Park... :/
|
Oh dear, of all the trilogies you could pick you pick one that is NOT a trilogy seeing as Jurassic park 4 is coming out in two years and one that is not even very good.
And anyway Jurassic Park 2 and 3 were pants compared to the original.
If you wanted a better analogy you should have chosen the Godfather trilogy although I suppose it is an 18 and thus the majority of the board probably haven't seen it.
ANYWAY, so Nightfall is ment to tie up the previous story arcs yes? How exactly? What was REALLY left untold?

Well haven't seen this thread in a while.
^Anywho, it's just part of the lore. They say part of the reason the scythe does aoe dmg is cause the crap hanging from their skirts hits people when they spin. But you still do aoe dmg even if you're not wearing dervish armor or if you're not a dervish.
